Maria Alejandra ROJAS
I am highly motivated architect well versed in computational design and digital fabrication. I am member at Design Morphine, which is a creative hub for design through workshops, lectures and projects. DM is Comprised of a large international network of creative designers. I am based in NYC, where I work at an design studio as project architect. I spend most of my free time developing small projects, currently I am collaborating with a NY based artist in a product light fixture design created from emergent algorithms. My thesis project explored the design opportunities of an airborne tensile construction informed by a swarm of semi-autonomous drones and was published in the Parametricism 2.0 edition of The Architectural Design Magazine.
